New Year, a Better Me
Happy new year! 2014 is behind us, and it's time to look forward to a healthy, pain and flare free 2015.
I plan on accomplishing this for myself a few ways. First, diet. I've never really controlled what I have eaten since having Crohns. I know what foods will bother me more than others, but I've never kept track of everything. I would like to pay attention to what is bothering me, and actually try to eliminate it. This goes for drinks as well. I drink way too much soda, and never enough water.
Second, is stress. I manage pretty well, but I should would like to remove the stressors from life. I recognize how my body feels when stressed, and it's just better being happy.
The last thing is physical activity. My weight has gone up and down a lot since 2007, and even now will swing wildly week by week. For a long time I was feeling horrible, but since I better, I want to take advantage of that. I feel great after working out, plus it always helps with stress.
I hope you all have a great year.
